Antescript is a collaborative notes app made by Abyssinia Labs LLC. This page says what it stores about you, where that lives, who else touches it, and how you get it out.

What we store

Your account. You sign in with Google. We keep the name, email address and profile picture Google gives us, and a session so you stay signed in. We never see your Google password.

Your pages. Page titles, the tree, who may see what, and a plain-text copy of each page's content used for search and previews. The content itself lives in a per-page document store; every few minutes of editing, and when the last person leaves, a snapshot of the page is kept so history can be restored.

Your files. Images and attachments you add to a page, stored under a random name and served only to people who can open that page.

What you do. Which pages you opened recently and which you starred, so the sidebar can show them; when an API token you created is used, which call it made and on which page, kept for thirty days.

Payments. If you pay for a plan, Stripe takes the payment and holds your card details; we never see or store a card number. We keep your plan, its status and renewal date, and the ids Stripe gives your customer record and subscription.

Reports. When someone reports a published page, we keep which page it was and its title at the time, the reason they chose, what they wrote, and the address they left if they left one; nothing else about them, and no sign-in is needed. A report reaches only us: the page's owner is never told who made it. Reports are kept when accounts are deleted, since they are about pages. If we suspend an account, we keep a record of when and why.

Cookies. A session cookie for sign-in, and two small preferences: your theme and whether the sidebar is open. If you arrive by a link that names where it came from (such as ?ref=hn), we keep that word in a cookie for up to 30 days and note it on the first workspace you make, so we can tell which places bring people who stay; the cookie is deleted once it is used. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking pixels.

Where it lives

Metadata and search text are kept in our database, and page content, snapshots and files in our storage, both with the hosting providers that run the app for us. Sign-in is by Google, and payments are processed by Stripe. The mail we send (invitations, shares, notices and receipts) goes out through an email delivery service, which sees the address and the message and tracks neither opens nor clicks. If you connect an agent through the MCP server, MCPCloud holds the credential for you, either the API token you paste, encrypted, or the access it gets when you sign in with Antescript, and uses it only to make the calls you granted; the agent never sees it. Signing in tells MCPCloud your account’s id, name and email address, so it knows who you are. No data is sold, and none is used to train anything.

Who can see your pages

The members of your workspace, by their role; anyone you share a page with by address; and, if you create a token, whatever you point that token at. We look at content only to run the service, and never publish it.

Keeping and deleting

A page you move to the trash stays there for thirty days, or until you restore it or delete it forever; then the page, its files, its snapshots and its document store are removed. Snapshots thin out over time (every one for a day, hourly for a week, daily for ninety days, monthly after). The API log is purged after thirty days. Export your workspace as markdown and files at any time from the sidebar.

To delete your account and everything in workspaces you own, write to the address below from the email you signed in with; it is done within thirty days.
